What is Flamingo?
Flamingo is an AI outfit try-on and wardrobe app for iPhone and the web, made by RRDL Ltd. It builds a free AI avatar that looks like you from two photos, then dresses it in pieces from your closet or the shops, so you see a look on yourself before you buy it or wear it.
Which devices does Flamingo support?
iPhone with iOS 15.1 or later through the App Store, and any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone at app.tryflamingo.app. The Android app is in review on Google Play.
Do I need an account or email?
No. Flamingo starts with an anonymous session. There is no email, password or social login.
Is Flamingo for menswear too?
Yes. Flamingo styles menswear and womenswear, and your closet, picks and try-ons follow what you wear.
Your free AI avatar and try-ons
Is the AI avatar free?
Yes. Making your AI avatar is free. Add a selfie and a head-to-toe photo and Flamingo builds it in about a minute. Every try-on after that uses the same avatar, so you only pose once.
Can I try on a photo instead of my avatar?
No. Try-ons are always worn by your AI avatar, so every look uses the same pose and light. If you haven't made your avatar yet, the app takes you through it first. It's free.
Can I try on clothes I already own?
Yes. Photograph a piece and Flamingo cuts it out and adds it to your digital closet. You can try any closet or catalogue piece on your avatar, alone or as a full outfit.
Are my try-ons public?
Your two photos are private and only used to build your avatar and your looks. Looks you make with your avatar appear on the Inspo feed by default. You can switch any look to Private from the look itself.
Does a try-on show my exact size and fit?
No. A try-on is an AI image. Use it for colours, proportions and styling, and check the retailer's size guide for sizing.
Pricing and Pro
Is Flamingo free?
Yes, to start. The app is free to download, your AI avatar is free to make, and new users get a free first try-on. Flamingo Pro is an optional App Store subscription for ongoing try-ons and the other Pro features.
How do I cancel Flamingo Pro?
Pro is managed by the App Store: on your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Flamingo, and cancel there. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
I paid on my phone. Can I use Pro on the web?
Yes. In the app open Profile → Use Flamingo on another device on both devices, enter one device's code on the other, and our team links them into one account. Both devices then share your Pro, closet and avatar.
Privacy and your data
How do I delete my data?
In the app open Profile → Delete my data. For anything else, email privacy@tryflamingo.app. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we keep and for how long.
