FlamingoVirtual try-on shows clothes on your body before you buy them or wear them, using an AI image instead of a fitting room. In Flamingo, try-ons are worn by your free AI avatar: a realistic version of you that Flamingo builds once from two photos, a selfie and a head-to-toe shot. Making the avatar is free and takes about a minute. After that, every outfit you try appears on the same avatar, in the same pose and light, so you can compare looks side by side without taking a new photo each time. You can try on clothes you already own from your digital closet, pieces from shop catalogues, or a full outfit from the Inspo feed. Flamingo puts the top, bottoms, shoes and accessories on together, so you see the whole outfit on you. New users get a free first try-on, and ongoing try-ons come with Flamingo Pro.
How does virtual try-on work in Flamingo?
- Make your free AI avatar. Add a selfie and a head-to-toe photo. Flamingo builds your avatar in about a minute. You do this once.
- Pick what to wear. Choose pieces from your closet or the catalogue. You can pick several at once to build a full outfit.
- Generate the look. Flamingo dresses your avatar in those pieces. Drag the before/after slider to compare, then save it, share it or try another combination.
Why use an AI avatar instead of a photo?
- You pose once. Every try-on uses the same avatar, so there's no new photo for each outfit.
- Looks are easy to compare. The pose, light and framing stay the same. Only the clothes change.

How do I get the best results?
- Selfie: face the camera in good, even light.
- Full-body photo: head to feet, only you in the frame, standing naturally.
- Use photos of yourself, not of the clothes. The clothes come from your closet or the catalogue.
What virtual try-on can't do yet
A try-on is an AI image of the outfit on your avatar. Use it to judge colours, proportions and how pieces go together. It doesn't measure size or fit, so check the retailer's size guide before you order.
Is virtual try-on free?
