Virtual try-on for men: see menswear on you

Virtual try-on for menswear: make a free AI avatar from two photos and try shirts, jackets, trousers and shoes on it before you buy or wear them.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Virtual try-on for men works the same way as for anyone: an AI image shows clothes on your own body before you buy them or put them on. Most consumer try-on apps are built with womenswear in mind, and many menswear try-on tools only sit inside one retailer's site. Flamingo is an AI try-on and closet app that styles menswear and womenswear. You add a selfie and a head-to-toe photo, and Flamingo builds your twin, a free AI avatar with your face and build. From then on you can put shirts, jackets, trousers, shoes and accessories on your twin, either clothes you already own or pieces from the shops, and see the full outfit on you. Your twin keeps the same pose and light every time, so it's easy to compare a navy suit with a grey one, or the same chinos with three different jackets. Making the twin is free. Try-ons come with Flamingo Pro, a subscription.

What can men try on in Flamingo?

Which questions does a try-on answer for menswear?

What it won't tell you

A try-on doesn't measure you, so it can't say whether a 40R or a 42R fits or where a shirt will pull. Check the retailer's size guide for that. Read more about how accurate virtual try-on is.

How do I start?

  1. Open Flamingo on iPhone or at app.tryflamingo.app. No account needed.
  2. Add a selfie in even light and a head-to-toe photo with only you in the frame.
  3. Photograph a few pieces you wear a lot, or add a screenshot of something you want.
  4. Pick an outfit and try it on. Drag the slider to compare.

Does Flamingo pick outfits for men too?

Yes. Daily picks come from your own closet and take the weather into account, whether your closet is menswear, womenswear or both. See the AI outfit planner guide.
